Civic Engagement doesn’t have to be boring

After the full rebrand of OnBoard board management software and subsequent $100 million growth investment by JMI Equity, OnBoard strategically acquired a small Canadian public meeting management software platform, eScribe. eScribe had a great reputation in the education world, but their brand was outdated and didn’t reflect the robust capabilities of their software. The idea was to bring eScribe into the OnBoard universe, but create a look that stood on its own. We brought the rebrand in-house, which meant that I was able to fully lead and execute the rebrand from first sketches to final application. By utilizing bright colors and repeating patterns, this take on a vintage idea brings eScribe into the 21st century.

REBRAND

To this date, the eScribe is my favorite brand I’ve ever created. After multiple rounds of initial ideas and working hand-in-hand with the C-Suite team, the final go-to-market deck made the founder of eScribe cry. After confirming they were tears of joy, we both rejoiced that I was able to help bring to life an idea that he had cultivated in his garage decades ago. His gratitude will forever be something I look back on when I’m feeling down.
