Hi! I’m Kimmy – an Indianapolis born-and-raised creative unicorn who thrives on building visual identities from concept to launch. I’m a one-of-a-kind creative brain that can do it all with a sparkle in my step.

As a kid, I watched my graphic designer mom piece together magazine layouts on the drafting table in her home office. I remember the first day I was allowed to play with Photoshop on her 1998 Macintosh SE computer, which absolutely blew my blossoming creative mind. I was one of the lucky kids who knew exactly what their career destiny was from a very early age. I graduated from Ball State University in 2014 with a Cum Laude BFA in Visual Communications sooo you can definitely consider me an art nerd. I credit my late professor, Fred Bower, for fostering my love of letters & typography in the classroom he affectionately referred to as “The Design Incubator”.

It’s been quite a few years since I’ve flown from that nest, and I’ve had some incredible creative adventures. Throughout my career as an in-house designer in areas ranging from national restaurants to cutting edge tech to cannabis retail, I have freelanced as an independent artist. I specialize in branding, hand-lettered illustrations, and murals. I love working with small Indy brands and anyone not afraid of a little sparkle.

I live with my husband, two dogs, and two cats. When I’m not moving vectors around you can find me at the yoga studio, thrift shopping, or making a cup of coffee.
